The SMAIAS has produced over 130 research publications in the form of books, book chapters, journal articles, in-house published reports on agrarian transformation in Africa, and contributed substantially to dialogues on the dynamics of land and agrarian reform in the region. It has supported the training of over 15 postgraduate students from Zimbabwe and abroad on various issues in agrarian studies.
